How does the spreadsheet-to-flashcard conversion work?

Sheetcards makes turning spreadsheets into flashcards easy and customizable. Here’s how it works:

  1. Upload Your Spreadsheet: You can either upload a spreadsheet directly or link your Google Sheets account for easy import. Sheetcards supports various spreadsheet formats, ensuring compatibility with most file types.

  2. Auto-Detection and Syncing Options: Sheetcards automatically detects and maps key columns (such as questions, answers, or hints) into flashcard content during the import. For Google Sheets, any changes made to the source sheet can be synchronized with a simple sync option, instantly updating the flashcards while retaining your learning progress, such as SM2/Leitner stats.

  3. Flashcard Customization: After import, Sheetcards enables layout customizations for all decks (imported, uploaded, or manually created). You can adjust the size and position of boxes on each card, change background and text colors, and personalize the appearance of both sides of the flashcards. Note: column selection for each card is set during import and cannot be changed later.

  4. Quick Review and Save: With Sheetcards’ seamless process, you can focus on effective studying, whether you’re working from an imported spreadsheet or building a custom deck.

Sheetcards ensures your flashcards are always up-to-date, allowing you to review and learn effectively.
