How do I import my spreadsheet into Sheetcards?

Importing your spreadsheet into Sheetcards is simple and flexible, allowing you to quickly turn your data into study-ready flashcards. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to Import Spreadsheets: From your dashboard, navigate to the "Import Spreadsheets" option, where you’ll find all available import options.

  2. Upload a File or Use a Google Sheets Link: Sheetcards supports both direct file uploads and Google Sheets links:

    • File Upload: Choose to upload a CSV or XLSX file directly from your device. Once uploaded, Sheetcards will process the file and transform each row into a flashcard.
    • Google Sheets Link: If your data is in Google Sheets, you can paste the link directly. For private Google Sheets, make sure you’ve registered on Sheetcards with the same Google account to ensure access. This setup enables the app to securely retrieve and convert your sheet data into flashcards.
  3. Select Columns and Import: Once your file or link is uploaded, select the columns to include in your flashcards. Sheetcards will map your data according to your selection and prepare it for flashcard study.

  4. Start Studying: After the import, your flashcards are ready to use, with any initial setup already complete. For Google Sheets, you can use the sync feature to keep your flashcards up-to-date with changes in the source sheet.

With Sheetcards, importing spreadsheets is quick and straightforward, helping you focus more on learning and less on setup.
